The Pickett Fence was opened in March of 1998. Louanne Davis and husband Ken have been sole owners of The Pickett Fence since April of 2001. We employ 6 great employees who are here to help you in any way they can. We pride ourselves in creating a fun, creative shopping environment. We offer classes in quilting, knitting, and crocheting.

Here at The Pickett Fence you will find products and ideas to inspire your creative spirit. The Pickett Fence is located in the heart of downtown Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. The store is brightly lit with wide aisles and lots of attractive displays containing all types of quilting, knitting, crochet, floral and seasonal projects.

FRAMING
A major part of The Pickett Fence is our Custom Frame Shop. The Pickett Fence has a computerized mat cutter which enables us to create many unique mat designs, multi opening mats and our word (letter) mats. Put this together with hundreds of mat board colors and custom frames to choose form and you'll soon realize The Pickett Fence is the place to bring all your prints, stitchery and photographs.

FLORAL
The wide selection of beautiful seasonal items is a must see at The Pickett Fence. Florals and foliage, home décor items, giftware and ribbons along with great ideas on how to use them are available. Our floral designer, Jean, would be delighted to create a special arrangement just for you! Seasonal or everyday, you choose the florals from our selection & Jean will do the rest! Have a container or wreath that needs to be redone? Bring it in, we'll freshen it up for you.

SEASONAL DECOR
The Pickett Fence offers a lot for items of every season to decorate your home with.  From Easter bunnies to Snowmen, The Pickett Fence carries a wide variety of decor items for all different tastes.

FABRIC
The Pickett Fence specializes in fabrics - 100% cotton and flannel for quilt piecing. Quilting and sewing notions, threads and trims are also available.

SOFT CRAFTS
The Pickett Fence offers lots of colors and different types of yarns for whatever project you might want to do.  We offer the latest yarns to the traditional yarns.  We also offer a large assortment of needles and other accessories for knitting and crocheting.

GIFTS
Need a gift for that special occasion?
We carry a wide range of giftware for that special someone or perhaps a perfect accent for your own home. Gift wrap, gift bags, bows and tissue paper are also available along with a full line of greeting cards which are half price everyday!!

Candy Shoppe
The Pickett Fence carries a wide variety of hard, gummy, and chocolate candies.  We have bulk candy along with bag candies, perfect for that special someone or for your own sweet tooth!
